DIRECTOR OF MARKETING OPERATIONS
Haley Williams
Behind Haley's strategic marketing operations expertise lies a Theatre Studies minor—which means yes, she's a little dramatic, but more importantly, she understands the intricate process of bringing compelling stories to life, a skill that serves her brilliantly in marketing. Her theatrical background taught her that every great performance requires careful orchestration behind the scenes.
After boldly quitting her corporate job first and asking questions later (specifically, going back for her master's degree), Haley realized she wanted to find a way to weave together all the diverse marketing experience she'd collected over the years. With ten years spanning four PR/marketing agencies and three in-house positions, she'd touched every aspect of marketing and intimately understood the struggles teams of all sizes face in their marketing departments.
Haley's superpower is seeing the forest through the trees when others get lost in the marketing weeds. While small teams with tight budgets often drown in minutia and constant requests, she excels at making strategic adjustments to how teams plan, execute, and respond to an ever-changing landscape. Her approach transforms overwhelmed marketing teams from frantic line cooks into confident Head Chefs who control their kitchen.
When a Green Loop client was struggling with their lengthy production timeline, Haley stepped in and helped them slash their process from 12+ weeks down to approximately five weeks. But the real victory? Seeing the client’s team lead engage at work in completely new ways—proving that operational improvements create ripple effects that energize entire teams.
Her marketing philosophy is refreshingly direct: "Silos and vacuums are where impactful marketing goes to die. Nothing in marketing is an emergency. Live by your brand guides, die by your style guides." This approach provides the guardrails that allow strategy, creativity, and adaptability to thrive together..
Want to connect with Haley? She's in two book clubs, so you can ask what she's currently reading, or if you're feeling brave, let her break down every Taylor Swift album for you (fair warning: she has thoughts).
