ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTENT

Kelly Wright

Kelly once taught in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Ireland, was hired to do a stakeout in a cafeteria to identify cashier fraud, and has filled every room in her house with bookshelves except the bathroom. (No, this isn't two truths and a lie…these are all actually true!) This wonderfully eclectic background reflects someone who approaches life with curiosity and finds adventure in unexpected places, traits that serve her well in supporting Green Loop's diverse needs.

After spending 20+ years working alongside founders to untangle operations, build smart systems, and help big ideas work in the real world, Kelly sought out Green Loop specifically because she recognized something special: a team that was kind, curious, values-driven, and low-key brilliant. She wanted to be part of growing something good, contributing to a powerhouse team doing thoughtful work that makes her own work deeply meaningful.

As a systems thinker with an operations background, Kelly brings a unique lens to marketing support. Her ability to see the bigger picture while managing intricate details helps ensure that creative campaigns have the solid operational foundation they need to succeed—bridging the gap between brilliant ideas and flawless execution. And as a digitally curious learner, she’s equipped herself with the skills to develop emotive and thought-provoking AI art.

One of Kelly's most meaningful projects involved creating a custom AI illustration for an author who had written a deeply personal story about the sudden loss of his wife. Reading his vulnerable and honest tribute to love, grief, and memory, she crafted an image that honored the emotional tone of the story—gentle and grounded in specific details that helped audiences connect visually to the writing. While it wasn't a traditional marketing deliverable, it exemplified how powerful storytelling and thoughtful visuals can be.

Kelly's philosophy centers on the belief that marketing is most effective when people see their authentic and best selves reflected in the work. This approach ensures that campaigns don't just capture attention—they create genuine connection and recognition.

Strike up a conversation about AI art, citizen science (she's passionate about how everyone can help scientists by photographing bugs and plants), your favorite books and movies, or Dolly Parton's Imagination Library—she helps run one in Johnson County! As a visual artist with work published in Mindstream and exhibited internationally, she finds inspiration everywhere from nature to bookstores to quiet evenings with her cat and a good book.
