Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana eliminates barriers to food access for  those facing health challenges by delivering fresh, medically tailored meals directly to their homes. Their work is rooted in a holistic approach to wellness and community. They recognize that food is more than nourishment, it also fosters stability, dignity, and connection.

Beyond delivering  meals, volunteers provide social interaction and wellness checks that help reduce isolation and support overall well-being. Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana also offers specialized programs for individuals facing serious health conditions. These specialized programs include EMBRACE (supporting clients undergoing cancer treatments), NO Limits (serving individuals in addiction recovery), and Ryan’s Meals for Life (providing meals for those living with HIV). The goal of these programs is to allow clients to focus on their health and recovery rather than worrying about sourcing nutritious meals.
